are alicia keys’ songs suitable for an alto (female) to sing a cappella?
I need to choose a song to sing a capella for an audition. Would an alicia keys song be a good song choice?. If not, which song would YOU recommend for an alto singer?

Id personally recommend a song by male singers– My voice is very low and I find it best to sing songs by males(baritones) in particular– I listen to a load of rock and metal and must say Im very comfortable singing songs by Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) — Give it a try– Stone Sour have some great ballads
